Martin LiuGeneral Manager
Martin has a BA and MA in Modern European History and French from the University of East Anglia, UK. He also has postgraduate diplomas in Publishing (from Exeter University, UK) and in Management Studies (from Kingston University, UK). Martin’s entire career to date has been in publishing, working for companies like Random House, HarperCollins or Orion Publishing (part of the Hachette Group).
Sara TaheriEditorial director
Sara received her BSc degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Queen Mary University, London, UK in 2001 and her MSc in Information Systems and Technology from City University, London, UK in 2003. Sara joined LID Publishing in 2015 as editorial director and manages the editorial function for both the UK and US operations.
Niki MullinBusiness development manager
Niki studied International Relations and Journalism at the University of the West of England, leading her into an early career of freelance writing and journalism having worked with the BBC, Bristol City Council and The Big Issue. Niki joined LID Publishing in 2014, and is responsible for business development.
Ben WalkerEditor of Dialogue
Ben Walker is editor of Dialogue magazine. He has been a journalist in London for 15 years, specialising in finance, management and public policy. He has won a range of industry awards for his editing and writing. A father-of-one, Ben spends his free time cooking, walking, playing poker and mountain biking. He is a keen cricket fan and a lifelong supporter of his hometown football club, Nottingham Forest.
Marion BernsteinCommunications manager (US)
Marion joined LID Publishing’s New York team in November 2016. As Communications Manager, she plans and executes all strategic marketing and media relations activities for the U.S. office. Prior to joining LID, Marion worked in both digital and traditional marketing, first within higher education, then food & wine. She has a Master’s degree from New York University.
Miro Iliev Digital products marketing executive
Miro has experience in communications, digital media, PR and marketing in both public and private sectors. He graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Media and Film Studies from Middlesex University.
Charlotte ReynardSales and marketing assistant
Charlotte joined LID publishing in January 2017 as Marketing and Sales Assistant. She has experience in Marketing and Publicity through various work experience schemes she took part in while at university. Charlotte graduated with a degree in English from the University of Southampton in July 2016.
Caroline brings with her eight years of experience in graphic design and previously worked at Edipresse and John Brown Media in Hong Kong. In 2010, Caroline was selected one of the top 100 Hong Kong Young Artists by APPortfolio. She has a BA (Hons) degree in Design (Visual Communications) from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Liz cooleyAssistant editor
Liz joined LID Publishing in April 2017 as Assistant Editor, supporting Sara in carrying out the editorial and production processes. Previously an editor within B2B magazine publishing, she has experience in both print and online journalism. Liz received her BA Honours degree in English Literature from Swansea University in 2010 before completing a postgraduate NCTJ Journalism Diploma with News Associates in 2012.
Xingyu WangBusiness Development Manager
As Business Development Manager, she works with industry leading companies and organizations located in China, helping them to connect with people overseas through powerful communication strategies, including printed books, e-books, journals and LID Speakers forum. Xingyu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economy and International Trade from Shanghai International Studies University, China.
Matthew graduated in graphic design in Marseille, France in 2012 and moved to London only a few months later, developing both his creative and interpersonal skills. Travelling inspires him a lot and he is fascinated by cultural exchanges.
Alexandra ManosBusiness Development Executive
Alexandra joined LID as Business Development Executive in July 2017. She completed an MA in International Journalism at City University of London in June 2017, and a Bachelor of Commerce in International Management at McGill University. Prior to joining LID, Alexandra worked in retail banking & wealth management at HSBC Bank for two years.
Danielle JacksonBusiness Development Manager
Danielle manages LID Publishing’s business development in North America, partnering with authors and organizations to create innovative solutions that reach their target audiences through multiple communications channels. Before joining LID, Danielle worked in digital marketing strategy and account management at various communications agencies, Nielsen, and a book publisher of commercial fiction.
Monica WangBusiness Development Manager
Monica Wang started as assistant editor for Master60’. Then, she joined Sunbright Publishing Co. In 2008, after graduated from City University London, soon she was hired by Kogan Page Ltd. Then in 2014, she joined LID China and presently is responsible for publishing projects and clients relationship in China. Monica has a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from Chinese Cultural University. She also hold MA in Mass Communication in Marketing Communication.
Before joining LID, Sam worked as Press Assistant for Bullet PR working on clients such as Visit Brighton, Museums at Night, anti-bullying charity Ditch The Label, and various arts exhibitions. She graduated from Southampton Solent in 2015 with BA (Hons) Magazine Journalism & Feature Writing, having interned in PR throughout her degree at music events such as Isle of Wight Festival, Reading & Leeds Festival and Apple Music Festivals.
KIRSTEN LEVERMOREAssistant Editor
Kirsten Levermore trades a neuroscientist’s white lab coat for the assistant editor desk in LID’s Journals & Magazines department, running Dialogue’s digital platforms and maintaining sections in both Dialogue and Edge print journals. A passionate communicator, Kirsten has worked with entrepreneurs, charities, global corporations, and academics for five years, clarifying and enhancing messages all around the world.
